Automatic border bevellers for quarter stiffeners

Commercialized in two models: BPM3000 / in line to be connected to other machines BMP3001 / with automatic loading system The experience carried out in the quarter stiffener smoothening section, has enabled to develop a model that provides a partial support to existing machines only rounding off tips or partially trimming the border, but that can be inserted in a distinct phase of production to complete the trimming process. This machine has been developed with the same characteristics as the BPM2000 model, automatically picks up the tip-smoothened quarter stiffener from a transport system (or from a reservoir, depending on the model of the machine), and inserts it in the dedicated group that carries out the complete smoothening of the border, increasing and completing the quality of the finished product. The productivity depends upon the speed of the machine that carries out the smoothening of the tips (when the pick-up is obtained by the transport system of another machine), while for the version with the loading system, the production output is around 1500/1700 pairs per hour. All movements are controlled by sensors that transmit the position of the various moving parts and supports to a computer, which manages and elaborates the received information and sends them back to the movement actuators. Also in this model, as in the BPM2000 one, the transport speed for the border and for the movement belts including the rotation direction is controlled by means of inverters, which control the thermal output of the engines, the excessive torque absorption and the number of necessary revolutions visualizing them in the built-in display. The quality, the reliability and the low maintenance cost, can be defined as the main characteristics of this machine. With respect to the current legislation on personal safety on the workplace, the BPM3000 is supplied with devices conforming to CE norms, an additional guarantee of the quality of the product to meet the needs of our customers.
