High productivity combined with the ease of use, makes the fit for any quarter stiffener form and profile. The machine smoothens out with the maximum accuracy the whole external profile of the quarter stiffener (borders and tips), without following any copy, even with very thin fleshing. The quarter stiffener is taken from a specific reservoir, placed on a transport mechanism and brought to the tip beveller group; then still in automatic, it is transported to the group that smoothens the upper border. One of the main characteristics is the diversity in the beveling of the tips with respect to the borders, being either in length or in thickness. Of equally interest is the low maintenance and productivity cost, which depending on the height of the quarter stiffener and of the quality of the material used, is around 1500/1800 pairs per hour. All the movements are controlled by sensors that transmit the position of each working component to a computer that manages and elaborates the information received, sending it to the movement actuators. In addition, the speed and direction of rotation of the belts as well as the transport speed of the tips and border are controlled by means of inverters, which constantly control the thermal output of the engines, the excessive torque absorption and the number of necessary revolutions visualizing them in the built-in display. With respect to the current legislation on personal safety on the workplace, the BPM2000 is provided with devices conforming to CE norms, an additional guarantee of the quality of the product to meet the needs of our customers.
