Hydraulic press for leather blocks
The machine presses leather sheets previously glued together one on top of the other, so that it becomes a compact block in order to proceed with the belt-cutting phase. The block is laid on a counter-profile mold having the same heel profile, so that the pressing gives a block with the mold’s profile: this is possible thanks to the ca 80 T pressing power of the machine, which allows a perfect fastening and adherence. The startup is carried out by pushing two buttons simultaneously, keeping them pressed until the plane is totally closed, otherwise it returns to the starting position. When the plane is closed, a timer is activated after which the plane opens up and lowers itself down to allow the operator to remove the block: the timer may be set on the control panel. In addition, a photo-electric barrier has been applied, controlling the insertion and removal of the operator’s hands, providing the consensus to start the machine; the activation of the barrier during the rise of the plane, will cause its descent to the initial position. The machine is supplied in conformity with the norms regarding personal safety on the workplace, and is supplied with devices conforming to CE norms carrying the related stamp.
